San Francisco is known for its unpredictable weather, but we lucked out when we met up with Monica and Mike for their engagement session at Land’s End one spring afternoon. What had started out as an overcast day transformed into a warm, glorious hug by the time we arrived.

Monica and Mike had warned us that they were far more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it, but we would’ve never guessed it! They smiled, snuggled and kissed for our cameras, and we had a great time traversing coastal trails, exploring the ruins of the Sutro Baths, and climbing precarious stairs until the sky became a technicolor marvel. Our stylish couple had even brought their own Diana cameras, which we made good use of.

We finished off the session at the Ice Cream Bar, an old-fashioned soda fountain modeled after the kind you’d find in the 1930s…
