Early morning at Tsukiji Fish Market pt.2

After our tasty sashimi breakfast, we headed back out to wander around the market. The main building was now open for “tourists” and lucky for us the light was pouring in from the windows above creating a sorta magical look.

So even though I didn’t get the shot of the steaming frozen monster tuna fresh from the boat I was able to get some wonderful light to work with. I hope you enjoy and can’t wait to go back!

All shots were with the D700 and either the 24mm F1.4 or 85mm F1.8 and if you wanna see any of them full screen just click on it and once on Flickr press “L” on you keyboard. They look great big.

  1. Wonderful photos with fantastic atmosphere. Love the colors!

All the best from Sweden, Alex Christopher

  2. These photos are the reason why WordPress is so much more intimate than Facebook. God.. I felt I have travelled to the fish market
