Tainan on Film part 1 (Lunch at Narrow Door Cafe)

On a few of the days in Taiwan I opted to just go out with my Nikon FM2 + 20mm  lens, mini-tripod and some Kodak Tri-X film.

Here’s some of what I shot.

We stopped by the aptly named Narrow Door Cafe for lunch.

We ordered an aboriginal tea that we had to prepare ourselves by smashing the leaves and grains.

The server got us started.

Luckily we didn’t overeat and were still able to make it out.

Here’s a little time-lapse of our tea making and enjoying. Shot with the Ricoh GRD2 (ok, so I took a small digital camera) and edited in Lightroom 4. Full slide show will be ready soon.

  1. Taiwan is such a great place to capture. Your B/W shots are solid and the time lapse is great. Tainan is a city I have only visited once but really liked the food and also snapping some shots myself.
